Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This is a great place for lunch, coffee/tea, dessert and dinner. Always fresh food, good quality and value for money. I do find the cakes are inconsistent in quality, some days great and some days it's just frosting with hardly any cake and bland. They do awesome babychino for kids."
"We had lunch here with friends on our visit to Adelaide. The freshly squeezed juice options were great. We had pasta, grilled salmon & fish n chips. It was a very popular place for lunch on Sunday. Plenty of seating indoor & outdoors."
"Really enjoyed my sunday breakfast catch up with my friend. She has been many times but it was my first time. There was a young male waiter and he went out of his way to help us get a table inside aswe were trying to avoid squealing kids. He came and got us from outside as soon as a table became available which he quickly made up for us. He was very pleasant and capable. I had a delicious vegetarian omelette and toast and they were happy to accommodate an allergy, and a great chai latte which were both served hot, fresh and quickly. They had magnificent cheesecakes for the next time I visit for coffee and cake. Only dropped a star as it was extremely noisy inside and echoey and it was hard to talk. Will definitely return!"
"Huge continental style menu, something for everyone. Highly recommended for a hearty brunch"
"Positioned on busy Norwood Parade a great spot for either some food to eat or a coffee and cake whilst watching the world go past you. As it’s slightly away from the busiest part of the parade it is easier to find a park and table to sit. The iced latte and cake were great, just took a little longer for it to be served. "Enjoyed a lovely meal on Saturday night. I had the salt and pepper squid, which was tender and well-cooked. The salad was divine with the addition of capsicum, and the chips were perfectly salted. The atmosphere was lovely as we were able to watch the footy. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe for a beautiful meal. The ambience of the cafe is just lovely."
"Well the update is after an OK meal last week this week, as in today, Lovely meal. Smashed avo and poached eggs with all the trimmings was a delight to eat. And the barrister (Sue?), the coffee was on the money, perfect brunch."
"My family and I were here twicebfir brunch in the past two Sundays, and came away very, very satisfied with food and service, and ambience as it is spacious and the tables are placed comfortably far apart. The pear and hazelnut tort is really, really good, to die for, and the coffee is good. The breakfast items, pizza and ciabatta were all very good, but don't order the scotch fillet steak. I ordered mine medium rare but it was overcooked, dry and tasteless."
